Kathryn is a Classical and electric violinist based in both the Worcester & Boston area of Massachusetts. Kathryn has shared the stage with rap artist EMINEM (Boston Calling Music Festival 2018 ~ StringCandy Music Entertainment).
Kathryn is lead fiddle player for Grammy nominee Ashley Jordan in the Ashley Jordan Band (Boston Music Awards 2018 at House of Blues Boston, Nash Next Finalists 2017, Luke Bryan Tour 2017). Kathryn recently won the award for “Best Acoustic Act” with Ashley Jordan for the 2019 Worcester Music Awards. Another performance highlight with Ashley Jordan was opening for The Ghost of Paul Revere at WGBH Front Row Boston in September 2019:

Kathryn’s love of music began at the age of three when she enrolled in Whitinsville Christian School's strings program in Central Massachusetts in 1990. Since then, Kathryn has studied violin with Tammy Kaye, Joanne Kuder, Elise Kuder, Monica Vander Baan, Robert Eshbach, and Elliott Markow. Kathryn is currently studying jazz and improvisation with Professor Jason Anick (Berklee College of Music).
During her high school years, Kathryn participated in the Massachusetts Central District and All State Orchestra Festivals, and attended Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in 2006. She was awarded The Young Artist Scholarship from the University of New Hampshire in 2006. She served as concert-mistress of the UNH Symphony Orchestra from 2008-2010, receiving her Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 2010.
Kathryn currently performs with the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra (Milford MA) and enjoys performing with her cover band BÊLIT at many local venues throughout Central MA:
Kathryn has also recently begun collaborating with Jesse Ljunggren (vocals/ electric guitar) creating musical mashups of their own original music, as well as creative arrangements of cover songs:

Kathryn has recently begun accompanying singer/ songwriter Cara Brindisi. Below is an unofficial music video (a sneak peak!) of the filming of one of Cara’s newsest original songs, “Sunflowers”, filmed at The Queens Cups in Worcester, MA.

Kathryn also currently performs as a soloist in the Worcester County area at venues such as The UXLocale (Uxbridge MA), The Grafton Grill, Hunter’s Grille & Tap (Grafton, MA), and Lock 50 Worcester:
The UXLocale (Uxbridge MA) is one of my favorite restaurants. Their produce is all from local farms ~ everything is so fresh. Kathryn is a certified Suzuki Violin Instructor and has managed the orchestras at The Rivers School Conservatory (Weston, MA). She has taught private violin lessons at Whitinsville Christian School (Whitinsville MA), The Bancroft School (Worcester MA), Sherwood Middle School (Shrewsbury MA), and currently teaches violin at Apple Tree Arts in Grafton, MA.
